I built the bridge

I wish someone had built for me.

I wasn't called to simply teach bookkeeping. I was called to transform lives.

I've spent more than 12 years working as a bookkeeping professional for clients across Australia, Canada, and the UK. Along the way, I kept meeting bookkeepers who hit the same wall. They'd completed a course, earned a certificate, then froze the moment a client handed them a Xero file with months of unreconciled transactions and a BAS due on Friday.

So I created BookWise Growth Clinic: training built around real client work, mentor feedback, and AI-powered Xero workflows integrated into the curriculum. AI isn't here to replace bookkeepers. It's here to help us work faster, think smarter, and deliver greater value to every client we serve.

That naturally led to BlazeWise Inc., an Employer of Record company that enables businesses in Australia, Canada, and the UK to hire BookWise graduates through a compliant employment framework. As the ecosystem grew, so did the need for a platform where professionals, organisations, and industry leaders could collaborate, learn, and create opportunities. That's why LLAB Events was established.

Hands-on experience in reconciliations, payroll, and BAS preparation enabled me to secure my first Australian client and later transition to a UK accounting firm. Today, I'm working as a bookkeeper while staying by my child's side, who has special needs.
